I check what comes up when someone searches for what you do in the area you work in. Real searches, done that day, not an automated report.

Then I tell you what I found.
In plain English, no jargon. If something's holding your site back, I'll explain what it is and why it matters.

Then it's your decision.
If you'd like me to fix it, we'll talk about what that involves and what it costs. If not, you keep the findings either way.
I won't quote a price before I understand the problem.
